Angeleana lived in chronic pain for many years. She has experienced first hand the healing powers of the body through NUCCA, massage, and CranioSacral Therapy.
Drawn to massage through the natural process of dropping in and evaluating sources of nurturing, she is pleased to have found her place in the healing arts.
She has enthusiastically accrued over 2000 hours of continuing education in order to continue growing and learning new ways of facilitating change in herself and others.
By keeping herself at the leading edge of relevance in the application of therapeutic techniques, she can tailor each session to meet the needs of where your system is on any given day.
If your path to health has led you here, she is dedicated to helping you establish or reinforce progress through touch. Whether your pain was caused by a specific traumatic event, illness, surgery, or has snuck up on you and not gone away, we can work together to restore neutrality and discover the space for you to thrive.
A personal note on receiving Craniosacral Therapy:
While many of you have experienced massage, which is lovely and unquestionably effective, I'd like to introduce you to a modality that does not receive as much press. Although you may have heard of it if you follow football as it was somewhat recently spotlighted for helping NFL players recover from post-concussive syndrome. It is my passion in bodywork: Craniosacral Therapy, a modality focused on rebalancing the central and peripheral nervous systems so that all other systems in the body increase in functionality and efficiency.
I was drawn to pursue this training after my sense of smell was unexpectedly restored with one session. I've had my share of impacts to the head, whiplash, and trauma and over time, my ability to detect scent had significantly decreased.
I carry that experience with me to remind me to hold space for the possibility of helping every client find more balance and peace in their bodies. I've worked with clients whose complaints range from anxiety to digestive issues to migraines to foot fractures and I've seen chronic pain patterns resolve in as few as one ninety minute session. It is an incredible style of bodywork that humbles me and brings me great joy to practice. Schedule an introductory session and see how your nervous system responds.
